F3 “Job” Descriptions
Amazing pay and benefits! If you are looking for the next step with F3 consider a role in the region.
F3 Coastal Empire is led by a Shared Leadership Team (SLT) and the individual Site Q’s. These men are sacrificially serving the region with their time in order to help F3 Coastal Empire live the Mission of F3 and ultimately help more men in our Coastal Empire community have a chance to be a part of F3.
- Nantan
The Q of the Region- It’s his problem
- Cheerleads
- Presence on F3 Nantan Slack Channel
- Attend F3 Nantan conference calls
- First point of contact from F3 Nation
- Weasel Shaker
The man which “shakes the weasels” and makes sure they are all doing what they are supposed to do.- He is a spreadsheet-loving, rule embracing, detail-oriented sort that helps to give the Nantan the information he needs to effectively guide and make decisions on how to empower Pax to become the leaders they have been called to be.
- Keeps his ear to the ground, and his finger on the pulse of the Pax with the Nantan
- For example, Wednesday numbers are really high, might be time to split the workout; or, I’ve plotted all the Pax houses on this map and it looks like we could use an AO on the other side of town
- ComzQ
It may be obvious, but we’ll state it anyway…- This man is the Q for making sure the Pax stay connected to one another. He understands very clearly that 2ndF does not end at the AO or at the HDHH. Part of what makes F3 work is a dedicated man to keep the drum beating so that Pax have community one with another.
- Website, Twitter, Slack, Newsletters, etc. are the tools he uses.
- Should be reasonably tech-savvy.
- Culture Q
- This is the guy that ensures that culturally, we are consistent across our AOs within the region.
- He makes sure that Site Qs are doing their jobs and often will hold regular meetings to do so.
- The Culture Q also helps to ensure that CSAUPs are planned and promoted across the region.
- He works with the Nantan and WS to look at the growth of new AO plants.
- The culture Q makes sure we are working out to the right standards, but also ensuring that F3 Coastal Empire is living the full Mission of F3 and is more than a workout!
- The Culture Q can be thought of as combining the non-negotiable aspects of 1st F, 2nd F, and 3rd F as the standards across the AOs in the region.
- Avoid factionalism in region (cliques)
- Treat all men the same, not identify with any particular group
- Seen as representative of all the PAX in region, not just “my” guys
- Leadership Development Q
The Leadership Development Q is responsible for making sure the tools are available across the region to unlock and develop the leaders in each of our PAX.- This is beyond Q’ing a workout
- It develops the whole man, through the phases of Q Source (Get Right, Live Right, Lead Right, Leave Right) using many different techniques
- His tools are Q Source studies, other book studies, podcasts, or identifying leadership opportunities
- The LDP Q is not in charge of leading all LDP efforts, but is responsible for making sure that our AOs and site Qs are developing leaders.
- 3rd F Q
This job is one of the tougher ones… the 3rd F Q really needs to understand the needs and wants of his Pax.- He can plant anything from a weekly Bible Study to an open discussion group to a regular community service opportunity for Pax. His role is the essence of the real mission of F3. Male COMMUNITY Leadership. It’s ambiguous on purpose, but it needs to make IMPACT.
- Don’t allow one view to dominate by majority or silenced by minority
- F3 is a First Amendment culture. Every man gets to speak his mind.
- F3 is a LOVE culture, in which the freedom to speak one’s mind comes with the responsibility to do so in a manner that best breeds Fellowship. This is a delicate and narrow line to tread, and the example starts with Nant’an
- CSAUP Q
The CSAUP Q is responsible for making sure the region is participating in, if not leading, CSAUPs.- The CSAUP Q does not have to plan, execute, or participate in every CSAUP, but does need to be aware of them all and encourage them when it is needed.
- If an AO is falling behind in the standards of the region, the CSAUP Q needs to take notice and suggest an event that can help re-inforce meeting the standard, and then accelerating past it
- CSAUP Q is expected to identifying the need for a CSAUP, identifying the leaders of CSAUPs, and exhorting the PAX to participate in the CSAUPs
- Site/AO Qs:
The F3 Ambassadors, if you will. Every man’s first impression of F3 will likely be guided by the work of these men. This is where the rubber really meets the road.- He makes sure that the core principles are kept intact, which is impossible to do if HE ISN’T THERE. So, the inferred commandment is, BE THERE. Every time. Period.
- He plants the flag for the AO, makes folks feel welcome, makes sure the disclaimer is correctly spoken, picks up the 6, etc.
- He manages safety for the site (don’t post if there is a bunch of lightning, that sort of thing).
- He manages the Q schedule. Practices Voluntoldism…
- He sells the AO, the Qs, and the Mission of F3.
- He harasses Qs to write BBs, etc.
- He sets THE STANDARD for the AO.
