Moseyed around the tree of life with disclaimer. Once we made it to the cul-de-sac we went into plank. Then RH up in air and then 12 Nolan ryans. Switch LH up and 12 NR’s.
6 dive bombers to finish.
Moseyed back around the tree of life and to stop sign by urgent care. Did Runners stretch. Prayer twist. Go into pigeon. Then switched it up.
Last mosey around tree of life and towards stop sign by the police station. Then executed Hillbilly walkers, the Tutti Stretch, and lastly the Grow-in stretch.
Then moseyed back to the flag to begin the workout.
Tha Thang:
Sayeret Matkal (סיירת מטכ״ל), also called Unit 269 or just called "The Unit", is one of the special forces units of the Israel Defense Force, and probably the most famous and also most secretive of units.
They are trained to fight in all types of environments and situations, such as Hostage Rescue, Counterterrorism, but especially Long Range Reconnaissance. They are foremost considered a field intelligence-gathering unit.

To join Sayeret Matkal, one must be usually born in Israel. One Candidate must undergo physical fitness testing, medical testing, and intelligence testing, before being able to join Yom Sayarot (Pre-Selection Phase), which is followed by Gibbush Matkal (Selection or Qualification Course), lasting 5 days and then the Advanced Basic Training Course.
This workout is modeled after some of the movements required during The Unit’s PT test.
Squats – 3x
Bench press – 3x
Bent over rows – 3x
After this first round then run around of tree of life to the cul-de-sac and back. Upon returning, same exercises but now 10 reps. Then run past tree of life to stop sign by urgent care. Return and then do 12 reps. Run around tree of life to stop sign by police station. Lastly increase rep count to 14. Once run after is complete them increase reps by 2 and then add weight to subsequent run. Rinse and repeat. Most got to rep count 20, 22, 24. Bogey was the six.
COT:
For those interested I will post their PT chart in the thread for this BB. Slack wasn’t cooperating. This is the combat fitness test level 3. It starts with a 3000-meter run (1.86 miles). The minimum time is 14 minutes. However, candidates should focus on reaching at least great numbers. This is followed with 60 KG Barbell Squats, Suicides with a weighted 15 KG vest, 60 KG Benchpress for reps, and it finishes with 15 KG weighted pullups. Again to pass this test one should focus on great to gold numbers to stand out.
Naked Moleskin:
– All songs played today were supposed to be hard rock remakes of other genres.
– Uptown Funk was booed but Limp Bizkit’s Faith was applauded.
– Catching lightning in the back of a POL is harder than it looks.
– DQ and Swashbuckler were not there.
