Bogey felt Freed to Lead and set up a group gathering for F3 at the new Enmarket Arena for the Savannah Ghost Pirates as they took on the Orlando Solar Bears (get it, like Polar Bears for the ice, but Solar Bears because it's sunny in Orlando … geez guys, if I have to explain it, it isn't funny anymore).
A lot of us were able to see each other, introduce our wives or kids to the other PAX, and enjoy some great hockey. The Ghost Pirates pulled off the win in a thrilling game that went to shootouts!
Proceeds from the ticket sales, just over $400, will seed our newest initiative to raise money to buy our own Speed 4 Need chairs and start a chapter here in Savannah. This will allow us have the chairs for more events in our region and be able to serve our community more frequently. If you don't know, S4N allows us to combine our passion for fitness with serving our community through pushing racing wheelchairs during running events (typically your 5Ks and your 10Ks) with riders that wouldn't otherwise be able to participate in the event. We have borrowed chairs from the north Atlanta chapter for a previous race, and will be doing that again for the Savannah Bridge Run on Dec 3 where we will really start to fundraise. Join the cause over on the #speed4need Slack channel, sign up for the race, and get involved however you see fit or called. You can learn more at speed4need.org.

Convince Honker, Clog, or other small business owners to buy a box at the arena so we can go whenever we want!
