5k race. Each pax estimates his time, then tries to hit it.
Timer is running at the start/finish line
Start times are offset so that each pax ideally finished at 40 minutes.
Come in slow, you probably won’t win
Come in too fast, you get penalized for sandbagging
Radar did better than most, beating his prediction by ~15 seconds
Periwinkle did well, just seconds behind his plan (though YCH pushed him to lower his time, and the course was ~100 yards too long)
HAL 9000 was given the major award.
All are better for it.
