Circle up on the 50
– 10 burpees
– Thoracic stretch and Michael Phelps
– Hurdle stretch and lumbar twist
– Downward dog and cobra
– Yoga arm reach
– Go to high plank. YHC has a frisbee and begins the thang by sliding it across the turf to the next man, who in turn passes it around the circle. While waiting to receive and pass the disk all men rotate between:
– 10 merkins
– 10 plank jacks
– 10 drunken mountain climbers
– Continue passing and rotating through exercises until disk returns to YHC.
Failure for a HIM to get the disk to the next man means that the passer must bear crawl to the disk and pass again
– Repeat in opposite direction
– 10 burpees
Tha Thang:
Each man lines up on the sideline every five yards. All men will continually run back and forth from sideline to sideline on their five yard line. While this is happening the men on the end zone lines will begin by throwing the frisbee to the man on the five yard line, who will throw to the man on the ten and so on. Men must not leave their line and must continuously be moving. Disk must go from end zone, to end zone, and back. Dropping the disk result in all men doing a burpee. While THANG is happening an interval timer is going and will ding every minute. HIMs do 3 burpees at ding.
– Repeat exercise for second time with a frisbee starting at both ends
THE THANG PART 2
– Things are adding up: each team throws the disk up and back down the field ultimate frisbee style. Each throw is equal to three reps. Each drop is equal to six reps. Upon going up and back down the field the teams will add up their reps and complete that quantity of merkins, big boy sit ups and Bonnie Blair’s
