Since we had an FNG in our midst, we covered the disclaimer, F3 Core Principles, F3 Motto, and F3 Credo. With special emphasis on core principle #3 – workout held outdoors, rain or shine.
We did the usual suspects for warming up and did a short mosey to the cul-de-sac. And onto the coupon stations.
Tha Thang:
YHC set up the following AMRAP stations:
1 – OHP
2 – Alternating Merks
3 – Curls
4 – Burpee Jump Over
5 – Kettlebell Swings
6 – Bear Hug Squats
7 – Deadlifts (Single or Double)
8 – pull up bar
Timer: Carry keg to last cone and back.
PAX would perform as many reps as possible until the keg returned. Then we rotated so everyone had a chance to be the timer. We had enough time to be the timer twice so two full rounds through the stations.
COT:
Lots of mumblechatter this AM about working out in the rain. In true Underground fashion all the PAX embraced the DANGEROUSLY WET conditions and put in the work. Chop wood, carry water. Rinse and repeat. No complaining, hell Skinny Dip even wore his deck shoes to increase the suck factor. My choice of wearing Chubbies swim trunks was definitely the move and reflective of my “professional” status. 😂 Also, this is the first workout where we were able to use the traveling pull-up bars. Nice work Cheddar leading that effort.
