Battle of Leyte Gulf – the largest naval battle in history, takes place in and around the Philippines between the Imperial Japanese Navy and the Third and U.S. Seventh Fleets. This battle virtually ended the Japanese Navy’s capacity to fight as an organized force. Led to the defeat of Japan a year later. It was the first battle in which Japanese aircraft carried out organized kamikaze attacks.
Pledge, pray, and on our way.
