R-12 started, probably with some hand massages or finger curls.
Then the OG rolled up with flags flying and music blaring to begin the hostile takeover of the Colosseum. You see, what had happened was, R-12 stole our shovel flag DURING a workout. As if that wasn't disrespectful enough, he defaced it by painting the spade Barbie Pink. It's not that we dislike pink, it's that it was forced upon us with an illegal act of stealing the flag DURING a workout!!!
No time for a warmup.
Tha Thang:
25 burpees. It should be noted that R-12 called for rucks in his pre-blast, so most Colosseum PAX were carrying a little extra weight today.
Whenever our first mate Swashbuckler Sweet n Low called "Release the Kraken", R-12 and one of his fellow Colosseum PAX of choice would have to get under the log for a couple of minutes. We had our first call for the Kraken, so while everyone else ran the bus loop, R-12 and Door Jam carried the log.
Since R-12 conveniently had arrived early and arranged the Cindy's in a circle for his planned Hell Week workout, we met at that circle and used Cindy.
The workout was simple, and inspired by the most famous Pirate we all know thanks to Disney … Jack Sparrow. Pirate music playlist on in the background. Norm would've liked it since it did feature a Disney song!

EMOM: 3 burpees
After the burpees, proceed with 100 reps of each exercise below:
S – Squats with Cindy
P – Pushups
A – American Hammers (100 per side)
R – Rrrrrrrrrmms Workout #1 – Tricep Extensions
R – Rrrrrrrrrmms Workout #2 – Curls
O – Overhead Press
W – WW IIs
S – Swings, as in KB Swings
The Kraken was released several times during this, giving every Colosseum PAX an opportunity to share time under the log with R-12 while the other PAX did a stationary exercise or continued the workout as called by Sweet n Low. There was lots of whining from the decks about the exercises being hard with a ruck on. Maybe next time you'll think about that before you allow R-12 to have rogue bad idea operations on behalf off the entire AO.
At least one PAX made it to the WW II's. Most were in the curls or OHP when time was called.
Run one final lap and meet at the flags (pirate + 2 American).
