YHC was late arriving due to lane closures on NB I-95, so we collectively started with (5) penalty burpees in my honor. Following a disclaimer, we then proceeded to do some SSH, Imperial Walkers, Moroccan Nightclubs, Chinnooks, etc. Because we miss him, we did some of FlatTire’s favorites – sprinklers.
Tha Thang:
Mosey to wake up Cindy, then proceed to carry her to the back parking lot. During the transit, Brady Bunch mentioned to YHC that Cindy seems heavier these days. I’m hoping he did not use this line of talk with Mrs. Bunch on the previous day’s Valentine’s celebrations…
Once in the back we circled up to start our (9) rounds.
Starting at the first light pole, we first completed 1 burpee (blockee for those PAX that wanted to up the intensity) and then 9 (each) of the following R.O.U.N.D.S. (R-Rosalitas in cadence, O-Overhead Press IC, U-Upright Rows OYO, N-Newton’s Cradle IC, D-Derkins IC, S-Squats OYO).
We then moseyed with Cindy to the second lightpole and completed 2 burpees and 8 (each) of the R.O.U.N.D.S. sequence.
At the 3rd light pole we did 3 burpees and 7 reps of the same sequence, etc. etc. etc. Eventually we made it back to the lightpole near the pain locker and completed 9 burpees and 1 (ea) of the ROUNDS exercises.
It should be noted that Betty Crocker managed to break a block with his shin which earned us all (10) additional burpees and him a trip back to the start to retrieve a replacement coupon.
Once we moseyed back to the flag we rounded out our penalty burpees with (5) more due to a flyover. We finished things off with some dealer’s choice Mary, and an old fashioned ride in the boat/canoe.
Final tally was 45 of each movement with 20 additional burpees.

Prayers for our brothers that are participating in the Spartan race in Jacksonville next weekend. Be safe! Prayers for Mariah Arnold, a family friend of YHC’s who was hit head-on by a drunk driver last December – still struggling with recovery and mounting medical debt. Other concerns spoken and not mentioned.
