2 brought rucks, 2 didn't. Started by heading the long way over to the pavilion near the batting cage. Do 20 box jumps onto the picnic tables. YHC dropped my ruck to attempt the high jumps onto the tabletop. Bogey kept his ruck on and did the bench jumps.
Make our way to the storage facility in the woods. Pull out 2 cindy's, 1 log, and 1 PVC pipe filled with cement. There was also a sandbag available. 4 PAX, 4 stations … 1) Log flips from light pole to light pole would be the timer, 2) sandbag toss, 3) PVC pipe rifle carry, 4) Cindy fireman carry holding from the middle web to work grip and work on slouching the inside of your thumb. Good thing we are tough like Richmond Hill and don't wear gloves anymore! All 4 PAX did all 4 stations.
Make our way to the pull up bars. 1 minute of hangs … 1 minute was not achieved with the rucks on, can't speak to the excuses of the non-ruckers not making it a minute. Then we each had to do side shuffles along all 4 sides of the pull-up bars … The condensation on the bars made this significantly harder than normal as the bars were very slippery. Next we did 4 round of the dip bar shuffle with equally wet bars, though more successfully this time.
Made our way around the temporary diet mounds known as Mount Pooler. YHC thought the backside of this mountain was a gradual ramp up to the peak. That is not the case. Limited footing, but we each made it to the peak, took on the glory of being the tallest people in Pooler this gloom, then precariously made our way down the hill.
Back to the pull up bars. 15 standard pullups followed by 5 negative pullups as slow as possible until failure, rucks off.
Mosey the 0.5 mile route from the Murph back to the log/Cindy/Sandbag/PVC station. Put the coupons away while working … Middle web fireman carry, rifle carry, or 2 man log carry alternating shoulders while we walked out back to storage.
Back to the flag.
COT:
COT held at coffeeteria since it's summer and we don't have to rush off to get kids to school. Great conversation ensued. You had to be there to get the rundown though.
