Montreal Corners II

Conditions:   A refreshing upper 50s with fantastically low humidity; remote urban Ao in downtown Montreal.  Second edition of this workout for FlatTire and Gilligan and we were very happy to have BC join us on this trip.

The Thang

No particular warm up to speak of other than BC’s mosey to the start location (his penalty for booking the wrong hotel).

The main workout was to run along Rene Levesque through downtown Montreal and complete multiple rounds of dealer’s choice exercise at (most) street corners.  Emphasis on using local geographic, historical and architectural features when possible.  This included construction scaffold pull-ups, curb derkins, stair step bear crawls (dubbed “bear stairs), park bench step ups, etc.

This continued for approximately 2 miles where the PAX reversed course and attempted to conduct the same movements in the same locations in reverse order along the way back.  Total was about 60 minutes of burn.

Quick COT and we were off to get ready for our day of challenging meetings with our  Canadian friends.

Naked Moleskin

At least one local resident declined our efforts the EH him with a surprised “WTF” statement as we made our way past him.  Mublechatter persisted as PAX discussed various oddities observed and how to pronounce the names of local establishments in French (BC had a distinct advantage in this category).
