Get Up and Get Down

8 PAX posted for a workout on a chilly 40 degree, low humidity…I think, morning in the gloom.

Warm-Up:

  • Planks and disclaimer
  • Thru the Tunnels
  • Dive Bombers
  • Don Quixotes
  • Merkins
  • Moroccan Nightclubs
  • Mountain Climbers
  • Chinooks
  • Side Straddle Hops
  • LBC’s
  • Imperial Walkers
  • American Hammers
  • Hillbillies
  • Bupees
  • Air Squats
  • Superman
  • Short Indian Run

Routine:

  • Motivated by various methods up and down the parking lot:
    • Run forward
    • Run backwards
    • Run side shuffle
    • Bear crawls
    • Lunge
  • Performed exercises at at each end:
    • Merkins
    • Jump Squats

Circle Pump-up:

  • Performed 2 different exercises in a ratio of 1:5, 2:10, 3:15…10:50 and back down!
    • Drop and do a Merkin
    • Recover and do Air Presses

Roll the Die:

  • Circled up
  • Used a 12-sided exercise labled die (we believe it was weighted for Merkins)

CoT:

  • Count-a-rama
  • Name-a-rama
  • Announcements: Bridge Run (12/1/18), Sterling Creek Park Relays (1/12/19)
